Amélie Del(aitte)

Hi! My name is Amélie, and I’m a 3D artist and motion designer from Brussels. I mainly work with Blender. My colorful world always tells a story and brings happiness .

My journey into the 3D world started with a bunch of detours.

When I was 18 years old, I started university in Louvain-la-Neuve, but I soon found myself studying a lot, yet not really… *doing* anything. It was too theoretical, and ultimately did not fulfill me.

So I changed course, and went to art school in Liège to learn comics, and… I loved it!

After my studies, life brought me to Brussels. I worked in retail to pay the bills, but still made sure to nurture my creative side.

Then COVID came, and like so many other people, I lost my job. But you know what they say about life giving you lemons and making lemonade? I seized this as an opportunity to try something new, and enrolled in a 6-month training course in 3D Motion Design. It immediately felt like I was meant for this world. Like coming home.

One year later, I am incredibly happy I made this choice.
And mostly, very excited to see what’s next.
